Jeep Car Finance

The leading uk car finance provider

Jeep buyers can be looking for very different things, from a compact Avenger for everyday driving to a Wrangler with genuine off-road ability. Jeep car finance can spread the cost of a new or used model while giving you different routes depending on whether you want flexibility, eventual ownership or a fixed-term lease.

How does Jeep car finance work?

Jeep finance in the UK is currently provided through Stellantis Financial Services. The main personal products include Personal Contract Purchase, Personal Contract Hire and Conditional Sale.

Your monthly cost can change according to the model, deposit, agreement length, annual mileage, interest rate and any Optional Final Payment. A Wrangler and an Avenger can have very different purchase prices and ownership patterns, so compare the full agreement rather than relying on one example.

Personal Contract Purchase

PCP combines a deposit with fixed monthly payments and leaves part of the vehicle’s expected future value until the end as an Optional Final Payment.

At the end, you can pay that amount and keep the Jeep, part-exchange the vehicle where equity is available, or return it subject to mileage and condition terms. If you plan to return the car, excess mileage charges can apply.

Conditional Sale

Conditional Sale is aimed more directly at ownership. You choose a deposit and term, then repay the remaining balance through equal monthly instalments.

Once the final required payment has been made, ownership passes to you automatically. Stellantis Financial Services currently allows terms up to 60 months and there is no annual mileage restriction.

That can suit drivers who expect to keep their Jeep for several years or regularly cover high mileage. Enjoy Finance’s What is HP Car Finance? guide explains the closely related Hire Purchase structure.

Jeep offers can change the overall cost

Jeep regularly runs manufacturer-backed promotions across selected models. These can include reduced APRs, model savings and deposit contributions.

Current offers differ between petrol, hybrid and electric vehicles, so an advertised rate on an Avenger may not apply to a Compass or Wrangler.

When comparing Jeep car finance, look at the APR, customer deposit, manufacturer contribution, monthly repayments, Optional Final Payment and total amount payable together.

Electric Jeep finance and the Avenger

The fully electric Avenger gives Jeep buyers a different set of costs to think about.

At the time of writing, qualifying new Avenger Electric models can receive the UK Government Electric Car Grant, which is deducted from the vehicle price at the point of order. Jeep also sells hybrid and 4xe versions of the Avenger, while the Compass range includes electrified options.

If you are considering Jeep car finance for an electric model, include home charging, public charging, insurance and expected annual mileage in your budget.

The Electric Car Grant is subject to eligibility and can change, so check the current position before relying on it as part of your purchase.

Wrangler finance and future value

The Wrangler is very different from Jeep’s smaller crossovers. It is a specialist 4×4 with a distinctive used market, which makes future value relevant when looking at PCP.

A provider sets the Optional Final Payment at the beginning using its own assumptions about future value, mileage and condition. A higher final payment can reduce the monthly instalments, but it also leaves a larger amount to pay if you keep the vehicle.

Age, engine, trim, specification, condition and market demand can all affect an individual Wrangler’s value.

Used Jeep finance and approved vehicles

Used Jeep buyers may be looking at older Wranglers, Renegades, Compass models or previous-generation Grand Cherokees.

Before arranging Jeep car finance, check service history, MOT records, mileage, tyre condition, previous repairs and warranty cover. The vehicle’s age and value can also affect which finance products are available.

Stellantis Financial Services supports finance on eligible used vehicles. SPOTICAR Approved Used vehicles from Stellantis brands can also come with warranty, roadside assistance and vehicle-history checks.

If ownership is the priority, Car Loans gives another route to compare.

Warranty cover during a finance agreement

Jeep’s current UK manufacturer warranty covers new vehicles for 24 months without a mileage limit, followed by a further 12 months where the vehicle remains under the applicable mileage limit.

That means a four-year PCP can run beyond the standard new-vehicle warranty period. If you plan to keep the Jeep for several years, check what manufacturer, retailer or extended warranty cover will remain.

Electric and hybrid vehicles also have separate traction-battery warranty cover. Check the documents for the exact model you are buying.

This is another reason to look beyond the monthly figure when reviewing Jeep car finance.

What about older Jeep finance agreements?

Some people researching Jeep finance may also have a previous PCP or Hire Purchase agreement.

The Financial Conduct Authority has introduced a motor-finance redress scheme covering certain agreements entered into between April 2007 and November 2024 where customers may have been treated unfairly over commission arrangements.

Parts of the scheme are currently suspended while a legal challenge continues. If you think an older Jeep agreement may be relevant, use the FCA’s official guidance rather than paying a claims company simply to check.

Compare the whole agreement

PCP can suit someone who wants end-of-term choices. Conditional Sale is more focused on ownership, while Personal Contract Hire can work for drivers who are happy to return the vehicle after a fixed period.

When reviewing Jeep car finance, compare the deposit, APR, term, monthly payment, mileage conditions, total amount payable and any Optional Final Payment.
