INEOS Car Finance

The leading uk car finance provider

The Grenadier was built for towing, off-road work and long-distance use rather than conventional SUV duties alone. INEOS car finance can spread the cost of a Station Wagon or Quartermaster, but the strongest route depends on how much cash you want to put down, how hard the vehicle will work and whether ownership matters at the end.

How does INEOS car finance work?

Since June 2026, UK retail finance has been provided through Black Horse, part of Lloyds Banking Group, while Contract Hire sits under Lex Autolease. Current retail products include Personal Contract Purchase and Hire Purchase, with different deposit requirements depending on the rate and model.

PCP keeps part of the cost until the end as an Optional Final Payment. HP repays the vehicle across the term and moves towards ownership.

The 0% offer asks for a large deposit

INEOS is currently advertising 0% APR on both PCP and HP across its UK retail range. The trade-off is a minimum 40% customer deposit.

On the Grenadier Station Wagon, the current 0% PCP runs for 49 months. The example uses 8,000 miles a year and leaves a sizeable Optional Final Payment. The 0% HP route runs for 60 months and has no final balloon.

That gives buyers two very different ways to use the same interest-free rate. PCP keeps the monthly figure lower by deferring part of the price. HP asks you to repay the whole financed amount during the agreement.

Current offers run until 30 September 2026, so they should be treated as promotional terms rather than permanent pricing.

Lower deposits are available if you accept interest

Putting down 40% of a Grenadier or Quartermaster can tie up a large amount of cash. INEOS therefore also offers 3.9% APR routes with lower minimum deposits.

For the current Station Wagon offer, 3.9% HP and PCP can be available with a 15% minimum deposit. The Quartermaster uses different thresholds, with current 3.9% examples requiring 25%.

When comparing INEOS car finance, look at the deposit, APR, monthly repayments, total amount payable and any Optional Final Payment together. A 0% rate may save interest, but a lower-deposit agreement may leave more cash available for the business, equipment or other priorities.

Grenadier buyers need to think about mileage honestly

The current Grenadier PCP example is based on 8,000 miles a year and charges 14.9p for each excess mile if the vehicle is returned over the allowance.

That can matter on a vehicle bought for estate work, towing, long-distance travel or regular off-road use. A driver who covers much more than the agreed mileage could find HP better aligned with how the vehicle will actually be used.

Hire Purchase can suit buyers who intend to work the vehicle hard

HP has no Optional Final Payment. You make the agreed deposit and monthly repayments, then own the vehicle after the required payments have been completed.

That can suit someone who expects to keep the Grenadier for many years, accumulate high mileage or fit equipment that makes a return-based PCP less appealing.

The current 0% HP campaign is particularly relevant to buyers with the cash for the 40% deposit. The 3.9% alternative reduces the upfront hurdle.

Quartermaster creates a stronger commercial-use case

The Quartermaster pick-up is aimed at buyers who need load-carrying and towing capability as well as off-road ability. INEOS also offers commercial versions of the Grenadier, so business use is a significant part of the range.

Commercial tax treatment is not automatic. Vehicle classification, VAT registration, private use and the exact funding product all matter.

INEOS states that qualifying commercial vehicles used solely for business can allow VAT-registered businesses to reclaim VAT, while capital allowances and Benefit-in-Kind treatment can also differ from passenger cars. A qualified accountant or tax adviser should confirm the position for the exact vehicle.

INEOS’s public business-finance page currently says a fresh round of offers is being prepared, so business buyers should ask a retailer what Contract Hire or other commercial funding is available now rather than relying on an old campaign.

Five years of unlimited-mileage warranty suits high-usage ownership

The Grenadier and Quartermaster currently come with a five-year unlimited-mileage warranty covering mechanical and electrical faults.

That is particularly relevant for INEOS car finance because the current HP term can also run for five years. High-mileage users can therefore have manufacturer warranty cover across the whole standard term, subject to the warranty conditions.

INEOS also provides roadside assistance 24 hours a day during the first two years of ownership and operates a global service network.

The warranty does not remove routine servicing, wear items or damage from the ownership budget. INEOS recommends servicing every 12 months or 12,000 miles, with more frequent checks for vehicles used regularly in demanding terrain.

Used Grenadiers need a different comparison

The used market is growing as the earliest Grenadiers move further into their ownership cycle. A pre-owned example can reduce the purchase price, but age, mileage, specification and remaining warranty can change the finance available.

Before arranging INEOS car finance on a used vehicle, check service history, off-road use, tyres, underbody condition, towing equipment, modifications and the remaining manufacturer warranty.

Compare the finance with the job the vehicle has to do

INEOS finance is unusual because the same vehicle can be a premium lifestyle 4X4, a tow vehicle, a working pick-up or a commercial tool.

Before choosing INEOS car finance, compare the upfront deposit, APR, monthly payment, agreement length, mileage rules, total amount payable and any final payment. Then add insurance, servicing, fuel, tyres and any accessories or conversions needed for the work.
