BMW Alpina Car Finance

The leading uk car finance provider

BMW ALPINA entered a new chapter in 2026. BMW Group took control of the marque at the start of the year, but the first new production model under the relaunched brand is not due until 2027. For buyers today, BMW Alpina car finance is mainly about funding previous-generation B3, B4, B5, D3 and other used ALPINA models already in the UK market.

Enjoy Finance explains vehicle funding and links to third-party providers. We do not provide finance directly, and the website contains affiliate links.

How does BMW Alpina car finance work in 2026?

The position is different from ordinary BMW finance because there is currently no new-series BMW ALPINA available to order in the UK.

BMW Group relaunched BMW ALPINA as an exclusive brand on 1 January 2026. The Vision BMW ALPINA shown at Villa d’Este is a design study rather than a car customers can buy. BMW Group says the first production model is planned for 2027 and will take inspiration from the BMW 7 Series.

That leaves the current finance market centred on existing cars produced before the handover.

Previous-generation cars are now the main finance market

Used buyers can still find models such as the B3, B4, B5, B8, D3 S and XB7. Availability is naturally more limited than it is for mainstream BMW models, and age, mileage, specification and condition can move prices significantly.

The BMW Alpina B3 Car Finance page is useful for buyers looking at one of the most familiar modern ALPINA models.

For BMW Alpina car finance on a used vehicle, compare the individual car rather than assuming that every ALPINA of the same age carries the same value.

BMW Select may be relevant, but availability needs checking

BMW Financial Services currently offers BMW Select, its Personal Contract Purchase product, across the BMW range. The structure uses a deposit, monthly payments and an Optional Final Payment.

However, BMW has not yet published a dedicated BMW ALPINA finance programme for the new brand. Used ALPINA cars may be offered with PCP by a retailer or independent provider, but buyers should confirm who the lender is and what return terms apply to that exact vehicle.

If PCP is available, check the annual mileage allowance, excess-mileage charges, Optional Final Payment and total amount payable.

PCP Car Deals explains how the structure works more generally.

Do not assume strong residual values guarantee equity

ALPINA production volumes have historically been low, but rarity alone does not guarantee a high future value.

A B3 Touring, B5, D3 or XB7 can behave differently in the used market according to engine, specification, mileage, condition and buyer demand. An unusual colour or expensive option may matter to one buyer and add little to another.

When arranging BMW Alpina car finance through PCP, treat the Optional Final Payment as a contractual figure rather than proof that the vehicle will be worth more than the settlement at the end.

Hire Purchase gives a clearer ownership route

Hire Purchase can suit someone buying a used ALPINA to keep for several years.

You normally pay a deposit and repay the financed amount in fixed monthly instalments. Once every required payment and any purchase fee have been completed, ownership passes to you.

There is no large PCP-style final balloon and no annual mileage limit linked to returning the car.

B4, B5 and D3 buyers should compare age as well as model

A previous-generation BMW Alpina B4 Car Finance purchase may still be relatively recent, while some B5 and D3 cars can be much older.

The BMW Alpina B5 Car Finance and BMW Alpina D3 Car Finance pages cover two more parts of the used range.

Vehicle age can affect which lenders will accept the car and how long they will finance it for. Check service history, tyre condition, brakes, previous repairs and any non-standard modifications before applying.

Sytner still matters for pre-2026 ALPINA cars

Sytner was the UK importer for ALPINA vehicles produced before 1 January 2026 and built decades of specialist knowledge around the marque.

BMW UK now directs Certificate of Conformity and vehicle data requests for pre-2026 ALPINA cars to Sytner Nottingham. Sytner also continues to support the ALPINA community and used-car market.

This can be useful when checking the history or paperwork of a car before arranging BMW Alpina car finance.

BMW Approved Used cover can add reassurance

BMW’s Approved Used programme currently makes specific provision for BMW ALPINA vehicles.

A qualifying ALPINA under one year old receives the balance of its two-year unlimited-mileage factory warranty. Older eligible cars can receive a minimum of 12 months of BMW Approved Used Car Warranty cover, subject to the programme terms.

Warranty cover does not replace checking the service history or mechanical condition, but it can change the ownership calculation when comparing an approved car with an independently sold example.

The 2027 relaunch changes future buying decisions

BMW Group says the first new BMW ALPINA production model will arrive in 2027 and will be inspired by the 7 Series.

The brand is moving further towards the top end of the BMW portfolio, with greater scope for individual materials, finishes and personalisation. BMW has not yet published UK pricing, launch finance rates or a dedicated finance product for that vehicle.

Anyone planning to wait for the new era should avoid treating old B3 or B5 finance examples as a guide to what BMW Alpina car finance will cost in 2027.

The wider BMW Car Finance page explains the current BMW finance structures, but new BMW ALPINA terms should be checked once they are formally announced.

Compare the car first, then the finance

A previous-generation B3 Touring and a future BMW ALPINA based on the 7 Series are very different purchases.

Before choosing BMW Alpina car finance, compare the deposit, APR, term, monthly repayment, total amount payable and any Optional Final Payment. Then look at the vehicle’s age, service history, warranty, specification and likely annual mileage.
