Alpine Car Finance

The leading uk car finance provider

Alpine now has one foot in its lightweight sports-car past and the other in an electric future. The final A110 cars remain available from stock, while the A290 and A390 expand the range into electric performance cars. Alpine car finance can therefore look very different depending on whether you want a petrol two-seater, a compact EV or a larger electric fastback.

How does Alpine car finance work?

Manufacturer-backed funding is provided by Mobilize Financial Services. Alpine currently lists Personal Contract Purchase, Hire Purchase and Contract Hire.

PCP leaves part of the cost until the end as an Optional Final Payment. HP moves towards ownership, while Contract Hire is based on returning the vehicle.

The A110 is now a finance decision around remaining stock

The A110 is no longer available to configure as a new factory order through Alpine UK, with the manufacturer directing buyers towards the final cars held by Alpine Stores.

The standard A110 PCP offer currently runs for 49 months at 6.9% APR Representative, with an Optional Final Payment and one year of servicing included under the campaign terms.

Buyers can visit Alpine A110 Car Finance for more model-specific information.

Some Alpine retailers are also promoting a 0% 50/50 PCP structure on the A110. You pay 50% of the on-the-road price at the start, make no monthly payments during the 24-month agreement, then choose whether to pay the remaining 50%, part-exchange the car or return it subject to the agreement conditions.

For Alpine car finance on an A110, that creates a different cash-flow decision from a conventional monthly PCP.

The A290 combines a government grant with low-rate PCP

The electric A290 currently qualifies for the £3,750 UK Government Electric Car Grant. Alpine shows the grant within the advertised vehicle price rather than presenting it as a finance contribution.

Current A290 PCP offers use 2.9% APR Representative over 49 months, with one year of servicing included. The representative examples are based on 6,000 miles a year, with an excess-mileage charge if the car is returned above the agreed allowance.

That means the grant, customer deposit, interest rate and Optional Final Payment should be treated as separate parts of the deal.

When comparing Alpine car finance on the A290, also add home charging, public charging, insurance and likely annual mileage to the same budget.

A390 buyers can choose between different rate structures

The A390 GT currently uses 4.9% APR PCP over 49 months. The Premiere Edition has both a 3.9% 49-month example and a shorter 25-month 0% APR option.

The 0% example requires a much larger customer deposit and leaves a sizeable Optional Final Payment. It removes interest, but not the large upfront commitment. Compare the cash needed now with the amount left outstanding later.

PCP can help when future values are hard to predict

PCP fixes the Optional Final Payment when the agreement begins. At the end, you can normally pay it and keep the car, part-exchange after settling the agreement, or return the vehicle subject to mileage and condition terms.

That can appeal to electric performance-car buyers where used values may change as technology and pricing develop. It is not a guarantee of positive equity.

PCP Car Deals provides a broader explanation of this type of funding.

Hire Purchase removes mileage limits

Alpine Hire Purchase runs from two to five years with fixed repayments and no annual mileage restriction. Once all required payments and the purchase fee have been made, ownership passes to you.

That can suit an A110 buyer who plans to keep the car or an EV driver who expects mileage to be difficult to predict.

Monthly payments can be higher than PCP because there is no large Optional Final Payment reducing the amount repaid during the term.

Business users can lease the electric range

Alpine currently offers Business Contract Hire on both the A290 and A390 through Mobilize Lease&Co.

The business pays an advance rental followed by fixed monthly rentals, then returns the vehicle. Current offers are advertised excluding VAT and use agreed annual mileage allowances.

Electric company cars also benefit from the 4% zero-emission Benefit-in-Kind percentage for the 2026/27 tax year, although the vehicle’s list price still affects the taxable amount.

VAT recovery, corporation tax and private-use treatment vary by business, so company buyers should get qualified tax advice before selecting Alpine car finance mainly around tax.

The specialist retail network matters after the agreement starts

Alpine uses dedicated Alpine Stores and approved outlets rather than relying on every Renault retailer for sales and servicing.

Current promotional servicing must be carried out at an Alpine Approved outlet within the required intervals. Local access is worth checking before choosing the vehicle. Alpine also offers service plans and extended warranty products.

Used Alpines need a different calculation

Used A110 values vary with mileage, condition and specification. Before arranging Alpine car finance on one, check service history, previous repairs, tyres, brakes and evidence of track use. Rarity is not a promise that the car will rise in value.

For buyers comparing ownership-focused borrowing, Car Loans provides another route. What is a good car finance rate? can also help when comparing APRs across new and used offers.

Compare the structure as carefully as the car

The final A110, A290 and A390 now sit in three very different parts of the market. One may suit a 50/50 structure, another a low-rate EV PCP and another a business lease.

Before choosing Alpine car finance, compare the customer deposit, APR, term, monthly payments, mileage conditions, total amount payable and any Optional Final Payment. Add servicing, insurance and charging where relevant.
