Fannie and Freddie hit by fresh concerns

Shares in Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac plunged as investors worried that the two giant government-sponsored mortgage financiers would have to raise fresh capital. Separately, another mortgage lender IndyMac announced that it would stop making almost all new loans
